Pathfinder TB coolant bypass

Ok so I am going to install a Pathy TB on my DEK. I drive the car in winter months and we can get pretty cold up here. In this case would you guys recommend avoiding the coolant bypass? Would the TB actually freeze up?

I ran my 3.5 TB converted to cable all of last winter with the coolant bypass mod and had zero freezing issues.

Thanks, once I install mine I'll be sure to bypass then.

What did you guys use with this mod to block off the Coolant and IAC? I'm trying to understand the write up, but to be quite honest, I'm a picture guy lol.
