acl bearings for vq30dek

Do any one know where to get acl race bearings for vq30dek main and rods i called around and some say they make it only for the vq35de about to finish the rebuild just stuck on bearings issue, also are the stock bearings steel?Thanks alot for your help

Not seeing the VQ30 on that list unfortunately. Maybe you can have them custom-made if you send them precise crank/rod dimensions.

ACL is Australian based company(based out a town close to Melbourne) and the VQ30 was not high on their list of priorities by the looks of it so ACL have not produced a bearing for that particular engine. There should be no problems having one custom made.

However, I would assume the Main bearings are the same as the VQ35

Thats what ive been hearing the mains are the same but the vq30dek part number 12207 31u00 grade 0 for a set of new ones

The main journal/bore specs are the same according to the FSM. The rod journal specs are different by 7mm in the VQ35. Most likely to account for the stroke increase and maintaining very similar journal overlap.
