00vi not opening

so at maxus i dynoed my car, and the dyno read like i had my stock intake manifold off, the power just dropped past 5500rpms or so.... so when i checked my VI, alas it was not opening

so i searched and searched, and i even checked my VIAS and it is still in tact, but my VI is not opening.

my switch is working, i opened it up, and the light comes on when i hit the RPM rangeits supposed to open at, but my VI is still not opening. Could it be the solenoid? anybody have a part number for the solenoid?

anybody have any ideas on what the problem could be?

did you look at the lil cup closely? Mine looked good from the outside and moved when I used the outer shaft to spin but when I opened it up, the hole in the cup was worn out and the rod just spun inside the hole. Run vacuum to one of the nipples, not sure which, to see if it opens to eliminate possibilities...

when i opened it up,the cup moved fine when i manually opened the switch from the outside, is there still a need to run a vacuum to it?

try the VIAS test by putting a vacuum hose on the nipple and sucking in air to if its holding vacuum at all.

Just because that LED is lighting up, its possible that there is no voltage going to the valve. Might wanna multi meter test.
