Wideband question

I was doing some searching on here and looking in the stickies and can't find much info on this setup:

http://cosprings.craigslist.org/pts/1249157669.html

I am looking into something cheap to give me my A/F ratio because I will have to tune for the larger injectors in my 00vi swap.

Does that look like a fairly good deal? I don't need anything with super duper accuracy, just enough to get a fairly close tune.

I mean this is just a wide band O2, it will just tell you the A/F ratio, on top of this you need a device like EU or SAFC so you can dial in your own setting, fuel map etc.

Frankly I wouldn't buy an O2 wideband used, unless I personally know the guy who's selling it. Check the LC-1 here: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/lc1.php

Maybe you can get an Apexi SAFC used for cheap.

Awesome, I'll look into the LC-1 as well. I already have an Apexi VAFC-2 hooked up.

One other quick question, all o2 sensor bungs are the same right? I could just remove my factory o2 sensor behind the cat and put the wideband in there just to tune right?

No, getting readings after the cat is a

Now, if you removed the cat and installed a test pipe in its place, your idea would work.

I'd just do it right and have a bung welded after the 'Y' of the left and right banks.

it's a good system it's the one you built yourself basically... You just need some sort of piggyback to tune your fuel.... My friend has this and works great and decent bang for buck
