good progress. Make sure you are careful with your brake lines. You may want to take your calipers off or prop your rotors up....just a suggestion, it really looks like they are being pulled on.
The simple and proper solution (as far as the line is concerned) would be to pop off the clip that secures the line to the strut. I though everyone did that...

Tuning a car isn't a crime, but spelling it "tunning" ought to be. - ....
The pics of the tb on the car are hard to make out but the other ones help. I do remember seeing that gold peice your using to turn the tps on the 4th gen tb but i think i have to shave some peices off of it to make it work. I never thought about mounting it sideways also I'll try it and see how it works. Hopefully someone will begin making these plates to make it easier for future swappers.
for my tb, I had a pftb and a 3.5 gasket. lined them up so the openings matched then redrilled new wholes so it'll bolt right up to the 3.5 elbow...goes on perfectly like it was made for it

If I could find one for a good price I would definatly go that route.
Well guys I'm at that point where it seems like its going to be forever for this to be done. I was kinda hoping to have it done for the big meet on saturday but I dont think it will happen so I'm going to slow down a bit. I broke a scew inside one of the cam guides and couldnt get it out yesterday so I'm about to go around there now to try again. I think its supposed to rain thursday friday and saturday so I might use tomorrow to get my test pipes and exhaust on my Z and replace the axles on my max. I'll take some pics of the broken screw and messed up drilling.
Those things are a PITA to do, and I've never done one before.
That was more of a small reminder that you still owe me for the TB.
A rigged stock 3.5 TB for cable is te worse thing I did during my swap. I hated that thing. I hit a bump, the TPS would jump and car would bog around. Make it easier on yourself. PFTB+ stephenmax adapter plates. Bolt it on and go. Its even MORE $ going into it, but its def money well spent

Ok not sure if this a problem but the gold links on the chain do not line up with the dot on the rear intake cam. You can see in the pic that the gear is on the cam adapter and the dot is on the lower right of the gear.
ok, the side that doesnt line up.. itll be a little off, just MAKE SURE the dots on the sprockets line of up with the gold links on the chain. to do this, you might have to rotate the exhaust or intake cam A LITTLE BIT. once it goes on, put the bolt in the exhaust sprocket and take the pin out the chain tensioner. when it comes time to set ignition timing, youll have to turn that bank A LITTLE bit to get everything to line up.
let me know if it something you dont understand about it

OK so were out working on it again today. Just torqued the cam bolts to 85 ft/lb and maxsapphire is installing the valve covers. I'm about to attempt to install the secondary chain.
OK so I was reading over the instructions and realized that the engine is NOT at TDC as you can see from the pic above. Is it possible to turn it so that it is or is it to late?
