'01 VAFC Diagram

I was getting ready to instal my VAFC2 on my 01 and couldnt find a wiring diagram for it. could only find it for the 4th gen and 5.5 gen+ maximas. So I made my own and decided to share because i'm nice like that.

It's similar to puppetmasters but according to my FSM, all the pins are in different places except for the power and ground.

Even if one was already available, it was too hard to find for me and its better for it to be in one common place.

If anything is, or looks wrong, please let me know so there is no mis-information here. And also remember to take into account that my car is an 01 infiniti I30. I highly doubt that it will be any different from its maxima counterpart, but i'd advise any 2000MY owners to verify with their FSM because all 01 cars are CALI spec.

I'm off on thursday and will give an update then when I install it.

I just finished the install and went through the whole pre-start procedure and now my car wont start. It just cranks and cranks, but it wont fire up. Anyone know what that might be narrowed down too?

Well, i just pulled one of the plugs. It looked okay. Turned the key and it started right up but dies. It wont idle and if i give it a little gas, it will die. should I go get some plugs?

My car is retarded. lol I Unplugged the VAFC from the harness, tried to start it and it dies after a couple seconds. Plugged it back in and it started right up and stayed running.

Maybe the A33a ECM has to go through a learning procedure? I dont know, but as long as my car starts and drives, i'm fine. My car really needs to be tuned though, i can smell the fuel. That will happen when my headers are installed.

I still need situate the wires and what not, but TPS, RPM and everything else is reading the way it should be. So I guess it was a success.

For these specific wires you will be using, yes it's the same. Good luck.

Re-read post #1. Both the 00/01 VQ30DEK and 2002+ VQ35 wiring diagrams are posted....
