If that's what the setting is, then that should work. I'm using 1IN/17OUT...in an A33.

Best thing is to try it and see how it reacts.

What year Q45 maf are you using? Also do you know what year Q45 TB can be used on our cars.

I believe the Q45 TB is a 90mm unit. If i remember correctly from my good ol' supra days it was a very common upgrade for the big hp 2jz/7m guys.

Overkill IMO, but this is coming from a member that has an 82mm MAF and a 70mm TB.

sorry to bounce this back up but how are the results? I'm thinking of buying a SAFCII and getting a bigger maf to run on my 00vi but just thought i'd see what the results were first.

For that application, I'd get a larger MAF, but not as large as the Q45.

You would need to re-wire it in, and calibrate (SAFCII) for your ECU, but yeah, I've heard it's 76.2mm ID, vs 70mm.

i think it was 1 in 4 out for the safc with the z32. But I don't remember how to wire it into the stock harness and all.

Put the two grounds together and wire it to the maf ground.
Signal to signal. (white i think)
Pos to pos.

Really easy, JWT has a writeup (or did years ago) check that out.

And yes, q45 maf should only be used for people with crazy power that have exhausted everyother mod. The thing is huge.
