There you go. Stock ellis juan vs stock VQ37HR, with the scale adjusted so the peaks are at the same level, and the curvatures will be equivalent.

It's a repost here anyway. The main 3.7 thread is in the other cars forum.

gt3's?, nsx's?????

yeah i'm not gonna agree there boss

And while we're at it, the only dynos of LS1s in that link are from 75 or 100hp/ftlbs up, not the full graph.

But as far as I can see, the discussion has more or less been resolved... you never responded to my final PM nismology.

finally!!! nissan builds a n/a engine with the same power level as bmw's S54... too bad it happens 6 years later and takes .5 L more of displacement to get there.

Anxiously waiting for the possibility of a VQ37 swap. I'll wait till one of the geniouses in this All Motor section figures out the VVEL.

Somewhat true. But this thing is putting down more power than a S54 and a 3.6 Porsche Carrera (Both about 275). It's actually very close to putting down the same power as a Ferrari F355 (3.5liter V8). Those typically dyno at about 300whp but at a much later RPM.

Well it was when those were new. But after all of the connecting rod failures BMW 'supposedly' dropped the price on them.
