00VI + EGR removal??
Hello guys, I'm about to do the venerable 00VI swap on my 97GXE (fed spec). I Started the thread because after all the researches I've done on how to deleting/removing all the EGR system on the car, but to no avail...
Would you be able to guide me through with detailed steps for the removal.
Like blocking this, remove that, beware of that...
Thanks twice...

Well it wasn't really a complete kit. In never said that's all it took to remove every EGR item. I kinda said it jokingly, i guess i didn't express that well enough. There's no possible way you could completely delete the EGR with just 3 parts. Those are just the parts that you will need to prevent a vacuum and exhaust leak. Did the 00VI you bought come with the block-off plate where the EGR guide tube would usually go?

Today, i sent my 00VI and 4th gen lower to the machine shop. The guys over there are gonna fill the lower holes and retap completely newer ones to get the best seat surface. The egr guide tube came with the triangular plate with a hole in its center. they gonna plug this one with a cent bigger than a coin and weld it shut. Gonna take the egr delete plug for the rear manifold and gonna seal it with high temp threadlocker and screw it down the hole. Gonna remove the whole EGR assembly (I had a look this weekend on how it was made and hooked) and disconnect the sensors. CEL will come on, gonna take the scanner and troubleshoot the lights with the sensors i disconnected.
So i'm gonna know which light came on and know that the lights would be only EGR stuff and related to nothing else. Gonna post results after the install! thanks for the time you take for helping me out!!

Cut the EGR pipe at the header and have it welded shut.
