Engine Size

How does a VQ35 compare to other engines (any engine) in terms of dimensions? I know it can fit into a S13/S14, but can it fit smaller cars with smaller engine bay like Miata, etc?

1. Miata has a rather large engine bay, or
2. LS1 engine is pretty small

Sorry, I'm not all familiar with the Miata nor LS1 engine. Are you saying you can easily fit VQ35 into the Miata? Mini Cooper?

LS1=3rd Gen Chevy Small Block. 5.7L V8 that came in the 98+TransAm, Formulas, Z28, and Base model C5s and a few trucks.

Miata= a woman's car (sorry, but if its stock form... its a girl's car, lol). Its small, but people do manage to stick the LS1 into it.

So if they stick that V8 in there, a punny 3.5 V6 is no problem (dimension-wise of course), you'd still need to deal with all the wiring and custom mounts and custom IM (assuming hood doesnt clear like in the S13s) and custom exhaust tubing jibby jabba
