dandy, would it be possible for you to e-mail me your EU map/file to:
michaelnyden@yahoo.com
thanks so much if you can...I would like to see what kind of afr you are running--adding/removing fuel and where and what timing you are running, plus I am having trouble setting up the rev limit...
where does your 00VI stop breathing on the dyno? have you revved that high yet?

In due time I will share more info when I feel comfortable doing so. For now I will say that my AFR has generally been in the range of 12.8 to 13.1.
As for your rev limit, send me a PM with a description and we'll get it working.

okay...that's understandable I just wanted your maps to see how you got the rev limit working and extended the ig and a/f maps out...plus I wanted to see how much ig advance you were running...sometimes for me to figure things out I have to look at what others did...I find it difficult to figure things out over the web like this...
would you say your making 230/240whp with just a/f and ignition advance along with all your mods? where do you suppose you are peaking your power now? past stock rev limit?

There has been a thread or two in the FI forum showing how to extend the rev-limiter.
Sharing maps can cause issues, since the EU support tool config on each persons desktop/laptop can change things.
Get it working with an A/F meter and tune from there.

As for the power peak, last year's dyno showed it already past the stock limit... around 6600-6700 IIRC. That should be even higher now but I don't really know where not having gotten on a dyno yet this year. I can say the car pulls pretty smoothly up to 7500 but the peak is probably a bit before that. Also, keep in mind my 230-240 estimate is just that - an estimate. Won't know till I can dyno.

so how much timing advance did you add across the board with your 12.8-13.1 AFR?
and how icey...that thread you provided explaining how to extend the limiter is extreme to say the least...major confusing! plus that was with the EU not properly reading the crank/cam signals...which was why people were having all of those work arounds by extending the maps using different methods...I wonder with the ability to properly read the crank/cam signal will have on making the process of extending the limiter much easier...?

no what I meant was that thread was made more complicated by the fact that many issues were being looked at their respective "work-arounds"...and some of them were attributed to the inability to properly read the crank/cam signals...sorry if it sounded like I meant that raising the rev limiter would be easier as a result...I mean thet "raising the rev limiter" thread would be able to go on a diet and be easier to read/understand...
