00VI w/ Stock Intake

From what I been researching and just looking at pictures it seems that the TB is pushed further back to the firewall and if you have the ABS system, then you will have problems using the stock air box.

Since I'm auto I would very much like to keep my setup and want to know what I can do to make this work.

It is not that far back and the flexible piece from the stock system should flex enough where it could fit.

nope, doesn't work. However I think it depends on what TB and/or TB adapter you use.

Now I'm debating to fabricate something or buy an aftermarket intake.

Kevlo, when you used the 5th gen midpipe, did you have to make any modifications or could you just use the 5th gen mid pipe and the 4th gen air filter box as is.

Ok, since money is tight and I'm tired of having these parts sitting around... if I can get everything on except the stock intake, do you think I can getto rig it by using some duct tape or saran wrap around the bottom air box to the top air box? I know this sounds stupid but it might be a quick fix.

Make your own intake... Search around and you will find many ways.
