VQ35 300hp RevUp cams for <$600!!!!
Someone needs to buy an exhaust cam and compare it to know 100% for sure, but DAVEB says from what he can tell in his diagrams the exhaust VTC doesn't seem to have changed anything on the head side of the cams. Looking at the dynos, these definitely lose some torque, but make it up on the top-end.
Specs:
RevUp VQ35 248-degrees duration 10.5mm lift(Per SR20DEN)
JWT VQ30 256-degrees duration 10.54mm lift
JWT VQ35 260-degrees duration 10.87mm lift(INT cam 2-degrees advanced)
Any PIONEERS out there?

I know he said it was ~$125 for each intake cam, so I'd assume about that for the exhaust cam.
In short, someone with a non-RevUP VQ35 exhaust cam would need to take the risk of ordering a single exhaust cam for $125 or so and compare them to make sure Nissan didn't change the length, end design, or whatever so it could be put in the 95-2003 heads.

I know this is the NA forum, but I think they're absolutely PERFECT for the FI crowd, since they don't have overlap.
Plus, for the price, you'd have to go with some no name generic off ebay.

Rumor has it that the Nismo USA cams were made by JWT, but are slightly more aggressive IIRC. Nobody has tried the Nismo Japan cams that weren't made by JWT.
Again, just rumors on the 350Z board and I don't keep up too much over there, so I could be wrong.

i think i remember reading somewhere that people w/ the rev up motor could not use the after market cam options for the 350z due to the exhaust cams being different. I think it said something about a sensor for the exhaust cams

True, but that's because of the VTC pulley/cam sprocket end.
A spacer and VQ30 sprocket might work.

Per this...sounds like the exhaust cam needs a bit of a haircut to work on 287hp VQ35s, but since we have to ADD a spacer to work with the VQ30 timing equipment...MAYBE we just need a smaller spacer????
