Would the Plenum spacers that the Z/G guys use
#3
What spacers are you talking about? The ones I'm thinking of go in-between the upper and lower parts of the upper plenum (If that sentence makes any sense), meaning they wouldn't fit unless you had a Z plenum.

There are some gains, but honestly I couldn't tell you the difference between the spacers and the plenums in gains. If I had to guess based on reading stuff on forums I'd say the spacers give about 80% or what the manifolds give. There are two sized spacers too though and I'm not real sure how they compare.

from what i have read there is a spacer that gives better gains than the plenums.. i think its a 1/2 inch spacer... 10rwhp

In order to test this part on a FWD you would need a flow bench test done on the current FWD Intake manifold to see if you could benefit from seeing increased airflow to the two front cylinders.

why would you need to flow test it...if you installed a spacer between your upper manifold it would be just like installing a mevi or 00vi..i dont know what you talking about in the last statement..that would would need to flow bench test on the FWD manifold for the fornt cylinders..

It doesnt matter since none of them(cyls) are 'starved' as in 350z's.
Hmm ... nope

I already figured that out. I'm NOW asking if a phenolic spacer work now. Inbetween the MAXIMA/ALTIMA upper/lower manifolds. Not inbetween the two upper Z/G clamshells

why do you think not... it would have more airflow. than being stock.. so you woud get more power.. am i wrong...you wouldnt see gains like the mevi or the 00vi but you would gain more power.. thats what im saying...
