The GTR tranny is set up for AWD with a longitudinal engine so it is almost out of the question as far as using for most applications.
I am not sure if the RB and the VQ share a similar bolt pattern or not though. I know the VQ does not share it with the KA, VE, or VG and I doubt the SR.

the reason I asked this here is cause I know you guys are gear heads, I know its 4wd, I wanna get a g35x soon, since they dont make one in stick, I was thinking of possiblitys

why don't you take a minute to write down some costs:
first off a G35X
Then add on a RB tranny
then whatever work would need to be done to make it fit (assuming you're doing it yourself)
you're not going to spend a whole lot less than it costs to just import a skyline

Unless you're making over $40k a year getting a G35 wouldn't be the best financial decision. First go back to school and learn not to be so damn stupid. Move out of your parents garage, get your own place, save up some money, and then get a new car. If noy you'll be one of those morons who drive nice cars and live in a 2 room closet over a titty bar.

i sense friction here. but i must interupt and say to the dude who wants the g35, if your purchase equals more than half of your annual salary, and you "live in a garage", that would be a bad financial decision. That reminds me of my old neighbor who lives in a 500sq. ft. shack, and drives a 04 5 series beamer. Hes also a crackhead. Dont make a crack head decision fool!
