Exclamation Need help with my 00VI!

I just got my 00VI today and I saw that there were some pieces broken on the upper manifold the lower manifold, throttle body, and fuel rail and injectors are fine. For those that have done this do you think they could be fixed or should I send it back. Also could you help me with telling me where some of the hoses hook up at. Any help please, here are the pics of the manifold

that sucks. You get the im locally or off car-part? I saw an im for a fed i think in the mid west for 150$ on car-part if you return the one you have. I personally would return it and try to get a good quality one. You dont want the vibration of the engine slowly tearing apart any bonds you make with an adhesive if thats the route you where thinking.

Damn I knew it, just my luck. So nobody thinks that something like J-B weld would keep it on there good enough? I will see what they say about the return.

That broken piece is just a vacuum source. JB weld it up, and just Tee off another source. No big deal.

JB Weld works great on the 00vi. Something else I did to repair a broken off hose nipple is drill out the hole to a size just under the diameter of a brass hose nipple. Then heat up a brass male-male hose splice until it is hot enough to melt the plastic and press it into the drilled hole. The plastic will melt around the nipple and conform to its shape, and will grip it very solidly when it cools.

One other thing, if you use JB Weld, or any other adhesive for that matter, surface prep is very important. Use acetone or rubbing alcohol to completely degrease the bond area before you apply the epoxy.
