Yup. it's only 1-2mm and I ran it this way for years. Eventually I broke off the pad lip that developed but no biggie. Never had any noise/squeal problems associated with it, not does it affect anything. Wait until you drive on it. ESPECIALLY if you have the Z31 rear upgrade. It's freakin' nice.

Oh good, I can't wait to drive it! It maky be a few months till it's road worthy...

Oh, I put on my wheel for clearance, the wheel fit fine. But i Spun the wheel and snapped off the chrome valve stem! Crappy... I need a flush kind of valve stem now.

Edit: z31 upgrade on too.

YEAH... thats right. Mine does that too. I did a BBK w/ brembo z33 rotors and z32 calipers on my friends s13.it did that also. It`s because the arc of the rotor is wider then what the calipers were really made for.I had to use J30 calipers because the Z32 calipers dont clear my spokes on my rims Jeff is right.. wait till u do z31 rears ... i`m having fun w/ mine...lol

300zx bbk

does anyone know if BlehmCo's 300zx kit with the 04 rotors will clear the 03-04 Infiniti G35 17x7 (alloy), 6-spoke wheels on a 96 max?

your best bet is to test fit Mr.T. I think it should. The 04 rotors are positioned more inward the the Cobra rotor.I thought my Z32 calipers would clear w/my rims but no dice. Thats Y i run J30.The RWD Nissan/Infiniti rims "should" clear Matts kit. The Z/G rims have more nigative offset.

I think it should. RWD Nissan/Infiniti rims have more negative offset.

COUPE 17s = probably

SEDAN 17s = probably not

Yes, the they are different wheels. They LOOK very similar though.

The offset made the spokes for the coupe to be more concaved... therefore they can house the BBK. I dont think you can fit the 300zx BBK with G sedans unless you get like 10-15mm spacers.

agreed. The coupe 17s don't have much clearance (10mm maybe), and they are 30/33 offset and 8" wide while the sedan 17s are (IIRC) 40 offset and 7" wide....you would probably need a spacer.

If using the sedan rin w/ 40mm orrset.. then probably NO. My rims have 40mm offset and I had to use Infiniti J30 calipers .. see pic

Offset from a different rim doesn't matter at all though. It's all about the spok design of that particular rim.
