Rear link swap out.
Here's what I'm trying out for my rear suspension.
The 4 parallel links are are steel with grease fittings for the chromoly hiem joints.
The 2 lateral are steel, no grease fittings, teflon hiem joints.
To compensate for being lowered I raised the inner mounting points. This gave the link angle a more positive angle till full compression. I also replaced the tiny bolts with 5/8's bolts and 3/4 bolts all grade 8(Standard bolts because I didn't want to use bushings with the hiem joints). I know it's over kill but it's a little more piece of mind for me. Also before being lowered on stock links, they sat at a negative angle. So when under compression the wheel would tuck inside the well, leaving me with 5mm a room between the already stretched tire and rolled fender. So after I swapped over, the links the wheel actaully pushes out and no longer inside of the wheel well. To remedy I flared the fenders a tad.

thats some nasty negative camber wear on those tires. rear assembly is really clean! but your under carriage could use some coating. massive rusting ftl.

Sounds like a good reason
I mainly did it for the strength vs. stock as well as bring back some of the handling.

I don't have any Real current pics seeing as how everything in the engine bay is being redone as well as and over haul on the rear trunk and fenders. But here's what it lookeded before i tore back into it.
Here's the bay right now. I had to stop on it to finish up the rear.
Front bumper is staying the same, the side skirts will be modified to match the bottom body line better.
I can snap some pics of it on jack stands.... But i think you get the idea.

looks good to me. how's the camber curves look for the rear links in that location? Moving the mounting points that much makes me worried about camber gain/loss during cornering.. so what suspension are you running on it now? springs/shocks/mounts?

I've looked at other ppl's set-ups and noticed they had much longer links and thought it was worth trying. I'm going to probubly have it set around -.1 for the rear and i think it should be ok, I'll probubly be adjusting it for a little while to what feels right. It's only going to be used on the street but I wanna milk as much as i can out it.
To get and idea of the travel and curve I'll probubly make a video when I get it all tightened up.
For now kyb's and intrax. I'm shooting for konis with modified boots in the next upgrade as well as better sway bars.
