Blasted strut bolt is stuck, any suggestions?

Ok, im going to raise my car back to factory. I got the front done today, but I just remembered when I installed the driver rear strut bolt I did not have the car raised up high enough (im a moron) therefore causing the bolt to be REALLY hard to turn. Needless to say it stripped out the little nut on the front side. Now you can not tighted or loosen the bolt. Any one have a suggestion on how to fix that?? I gotta get that bolt out to put on the factory spring.

Im having to drive it daily so I really need to get the rear raised back up to match the front

Thanks!

cut it if you have the tools, if not, just take it to a shop.

are you referring to the bottom bolt that attaches the strut to the rear axle? If so I believe you can get a new nut and bolt from the dealer /bone yard. there's like a tab that holds the nut in place. if we're talking about the same bolt and it's stripped along with it's nut, take the load off the bolt by raising rear till you can pry it out with perhaps a hammer and vise grips or a large screwdriver under the head of the bolt and loosen and pry out simutaneously. If this isn't possible hacksaw the bolt and nut off and replace! good luck be patient!

CMax yes we are talking about the same bolt/nut.. That little tab rounded off when I was tighting it. Then the head of the bolt is semi rounded off from me cranking down on it with a socket. When i get more time im gonna try to get that sucker off. thanks for the advice!

Came up with a solution (i think). I have a small welder ie:hobby welder, anyway I think I can tack the nut so it does not spin.. Then hopefully get that bolt to loosen. Sound like a good plan?
