another way to bleed rear brakes?

does anyone know if there is anyway to bleed the brakes without using the bleeder bolt? I replaced my RL caliper since my old one was siezed. Well the used caliper i got had a very rusted bleeder bolt...tried to be very careful in loosening it but I still ended up in breaking the top off. So now im screwed with mushy brakes until I buy another caliper unless someone knows of another way...

go to the parts store and buy a remanufactured caliper. they're not that expensive....

Have you tried applying a penetrating spray, drilling, and extracting?

i had to use a screw/bolt extractor (bought at Sears) to remove the broken bleeder bolts from both front brakes of my '69 cougar.

it's like a drill bit with reverse tapered cutting screw threads that are designed to screw counter-clockwise into the screw/bolt (usually after a pilot hole has first been drilled which I had to carefully do). you dont want to drill the pilot hole so big that using the screw/bolt extractor will disintegrate the bleeder bolt.

also, its tapered so that turning the extractor threads dig into the damaged screw/bolt deeper and tighter and also turns the damaged screw counter-clockwise which loosens and removes the damaged screw/bolt.
