What am I doing wrong?
I did rotors and pads all around August of last year. The rotors were generic brand from autozone paired with ceramic pads all around. Around December I began feeling pulsation indicating warped rotors. Then after the big snowstorms we had in February/March they became severely warped.
I'm wondering what is going on here, is this to be expected? Am I doing something wrong on the install? Am I using inferior parts?
My sig is wrong BTW, I now have an 03 GLE.

Anywayyyyyyyy...all I can offer is the fact that the cheap generic rotors are the cause. I put a cheap one on the rear as a stop-gap measure only & my mechanic told me not to use them on the fronts or warpage will be your friend.
BTW not a Pretty Boy fan here, but he'll take Oscar on a unanimous decision .

It probably has more to do with the pads than the rotors. Get some good, quality pads like Hawk HPS and do the proper break in method as outlined by the manufacturer. It's probably just an uneven layer of pad material build up that's causing the vibration.

So is it the type of metals used in the rotor that is inferior? What is a good quality rotor? Brembo?
I've always liked both fighters. I've followed Floyd for a while now. Some of his antics are quite humorous, some not so much. I'm sure Floyd will win by decision.
