Got my car cornerbalanced...need help evaluating the data

Yesterday I took my car to a [um...] performance shop for cornerbalancing and alignment. When they finished, they gave me this: (plus standard alignment printout)

According to this sheet my cross weights are 1717lbs and 1805. Is that normal, did they actually do their job?? As far as I understand crossweights should be exactly the same. Or, it that the way my car was before cornerbalancing, and now cross weights are set to be equal?

Thanks in advance!

Well the idea is to get the car as close to 50/50 balance as you can. It looks like they are real close on the money 50.3% (L) and 49.7% (R) with a 150lb driver. From what I've read a 51/49 balance is as far out as should be allowed. I'm not sure if you can just add corner weights together to get the cross weight, I think you have to use all corners in the equation?? I do however see your point, I'm going to corner balance my Z in the next few weeks, so I'm intrested in more info as well.

here are my specs...all weight with me in the car (obviously) I weigh about 175/180lbs...and have a 2000 maxima se 5spd fully loaded

992 976

652 635

1628 and 1627 crossweights
3255lbs. total weight
50.5%/49.5% side to side
60.7% front 39.3% rear

if your cornerweights are 1717lbs and 1805, then they should be able to do a better job than that as the goal is not just 50/50 left to right, but from corner to corner, getting those as close as possible (the diagonal weights)...look at mine, they are 1lb apart!

just noticed how you edited your post,

that's exactly what I'm thinking. Since that's the first time I'm doing this I was not 100% sure how it's supposed to be.

On the other hand, it could also be a typo, notice that the sum of all four corner weights is 3522lbs - 99 lbs more than the actual weight of the car. And it also looks like the left rear weight should be approximately 100 lbs less than it says on the sheet. (according to all other data and all other calculations on the sheet)

Regardless whether it's a typo or not, I think it would be a good idea to call them and ask to put it on the scales one more time to make sure that everything is right.

The sad part is that the shop is approximately 1.5 - 2 hours away from me.
