AC not cold

AC not cold
2016 Max SR - just purchased for my daughter.
We noticed the AC didn't seem to get cold. Seller mentioned he had to charge it last summer, so we suspect a leak - so probably a compresser??
THoughts?
Is there anything else it could be?
Are there any other parts it'll likely need?
Is there a less expensive fix we could try?

Check to make sure that the lines are not corroded. If they aren't, get a shop to put dye in the system to find the leak, hopefully all it will need are replacement O-rings. Don't let a shop tell you that you need a new compressor like they tried to tell me when my 2010 had a leak. Good luck.

AC Not Cold
Have the same issue only gets cold at 60 and blows warm air until then as a dial down. Did you find the issue on this? Need to use my extended warranty to get this fixed for free if you find the solution. Also dont hear my AC compressor kicking in when pressing the AC button.
