Rear suspension link 10 year warranty extension

Got this in the mail yesterday, with warranty coverage bumped up to 10 years. Is this just for certain 2016s, or are other model years impacted?

I just got the exact same notice but for my 2017 SL.
I'll probably bring it up next time I'm at the dealership.

My 2019 with 28k miles does a cracking noise intermittently in rear suspension on very rough roads. Will bring that up next oil change service later this month. Thanks for the heads up.

On some 2013- 2018 Nissan Altimas and some 2016-2018 Nissan Maxima vehicles, one of the rear lower suspension links may corrode and separate at the bushing joint area. Customers may notice a knocking or rattling noise from the rear of the vehicle or observe wheel misalignment on the rear wheel(s) if the link separates.

WHAT NISSAN WILL DO
To help assure continued satisfaction and confidence in the vehicles impacted, Nissan is extending its New Vehicle Limited Warranty coverage for affected vehicles’ rear lower suspension links by 84 months and unlimited miles beyond the current 36 month/36,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty, for a total of 120 months without regard to mileage. This limited warranty extension applies only to the rear lower suspension links if parts are cracked or broken. Coverage of other vehicle components will remain unchanged, and all other terms, conditions, limitations and exclusions of Nissan’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty continue to apply. Please consult your warranty information booklet for details.

Wow, I've never seen anything break like that. What state do you live in to get that kind of rust corrosion?

Looks like Nissan went back to using cheap metal. Remember this?
On some model year 2002-2005 Nissan Altima and 2004-2005 Nissan Maxima vehicles, there is a possibility that corrosion of the rear sub-frame may occur. Corrosion is most likely in cold climates where heavy salting of roads is common practice in freezing conditions.
