Another Interesting article that address only prices increases for 2020 and additional safety equipment as standard.

I fear Nissan is going the way of Mitsubishi, and how they axed all their good vehicles...

Nissan hasn't updated the 370z and the Maxima has strayed from its "4DSC" roots.

4dsc has always been just a marketing gimmick. Yes it has a CVT now, but it can still blow the doors off most previous gen Maximas. It's always been a sedan with above average features & performance. On both counts I'd say it has stuck to it's original mission quite well

As for the 370z, I'd love to see them give that a good refresh. Given their current financial woes I don't have high hopes

They need to update the gages and infotainment. Go the route of Honda with the all digital gages

I still like the old school charm of a mechanical speedo. A heads up display would be nice though, even as an option. My first new car (a Grand Prix) had it and it was a great feature.

Fair, but how about some updated ones? They're litterally the exact same gages as a 2014 nissan rogue

I really appreciate Nissan's current gauge setup in the current Maxima with 2 big physical analog gauges for tach/speedo separated by a large digital screen for all the other data. There are like 7 different displays you can see...one which has a ton of info visible at once. The only thing I would add would be the HUD in addition. Otherwise...the current setup is great! I also hope they keep many physical buttons over burying stuff like climate control and seat controls within an infotainment screen. I hate that trend, and it makes you take your eye off the road to do any changes in other brands.

Well put! More than enough information. HUD would be nice though my line of sight in this Maxima dash allows more visual scanning of guages without being distracted from the road now.

It's interesting that the 360 view and moonroof are now standard. Funny how just a year ago the SR supposedly could not support a moonroof (because of some supposed structurally incompatibility ). I wonder what changed. The 360 view is a feature no car should be without, I'm totally spoiled now that I have it.

The 360 view was enough reason for us to get another new 2019 Maxima! That and the right hand wheel view have saved many curb to wheel mashups.
