heated seats
Randomly my 11 max sv drivers side seat heater doesnt stay on. The switch is turned to high it initially starts warming and little indicator light lights up then after few minutes light goes out and seat stops warming.
Anyone experiencing this also?
Id like to save a trip to dealership as they will turn it on say it works and call me crazy.
Please private message me with any thoughts. Thank you

Are the heated seat controls in the 2011 different than the 2010? I have to physically turn my seats off, even if I turn the car off and restart it the seats will still be on. Unless there was a design change I'd say you have a problem.

I have a similar problem, but it is very random. I have a 2009... It seems like it only happens with it is really cold out. The only way I can get it to come back on is to turn the car off and restart...

Another thing I noticed. It seems to happen more frequently when I have the steering wheel heater on also and not as much when I dont.
Doesnt sound worth my time to go to dealer about it.
As far as if its similar to 2010 switch idk. Its a tiny ****ty little twist *** for for heater and cooling function on drivers seat. Passenger seat works fine. Always. Does me no good tho.

The "climate controlled" drivers seat have some manufactured defects which (if yours is affected) results in the seat shuttings its self off. There is a TSB on how to fix this and your dealerships should be aware of it. Search the forums you should find more specific threads with info on the TSB you can bring to the dealership.
Or just bring it to the dealership and tell them there is a TSB on how to fix your issue since they're not being proactive enough to check for it.
