adding HID fog lights to my 2009 S Model

I just have pieces of plastic inserts where the fog lights would normally go. Does anybody have a link to a place i can by these and is it even possible to add these to my car? Is it complicated?

Thanks

I think the car is pre-wired for fog lights but not sure on the switch set up...

you right.. its prewired for foglight but you will need to change the turn signal switch with the switch with foglight added to it just as how the 09 SV has. i added foglight to my 09 S and make it come on with my park light.

Who changed your turn signal and what was the cost of that part of the install?

Thanks

Has anyone added HID plug and play to their stock foglights on a SV model?

Was wanting to do all this myself. How did you manage this? Did you have cut/splice to make it work or was there connectors setup to do this?

If you have pics or can explain in detail would be great. I want my foglights, but dread the charge for installing the diff switch in the car.

Or has anyone out there actually changed that switch? Is it as difficult as it seems?

I have OEM fog lights on my SV Sport and I'm debating whether I should replace them with:
1. HID Kit
2. 5000-6000k Halogen bulb

I want to do this so that the fog lights more closely match with my HID headlights. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I'm interested in this as well. I'm probably going to buy an HID conversion kit for the headlights soon, and if it's easy and not too pricey, I'd like to add some matching fog lights.

How difficult is the install? What's involved?

SUP.. i wish i could provide a setup but when i took it to the shop for installation. i dropped my car and came back later cause i was told it will take a while to do the connector to make my foglight turn on with the park light. there was a video on youtube on how to change your turn signal switch but for some reason i cant find it anymore. would have post it up..
ps: one thing i remember during installation is that he had to change my parklight fuse so many times cuz of the power voltage of the HID foglight. so make sure you have some extra 10A fuse in handy

May have found the answer

I found these 4300k halogens that supposedly match very well with the stock HIDs.

I will likely purchase soon and report back. This method seems both cheaper and easier than HID fog lights.

The S version doesnt come with the pre-set hardware for fog lights..

Anybody bought the framework / hardware that will house the fog light itself..?

Thanks -

Hi Kmoney,

I just noticed you have a NY license plate. Who installed your fog lights? Maybe I can go to the same shop. I live in Queens. Thanks.
