BlueBatMobile 7th Gen. Maxima Vinyl Overlays Here

Talked to Andy today and the overlays for the 7th Gen. are finally all set. I don't know the prices as I am not selling these but just letting you guys know that they are avaliable to who ever wants them. I provided a list below and his email is bluebatmobile@san.rr.com make sure to tell him that Kamber sent you.

To check out some of his other products to get an idea of what they look like check out BlueBatMobile.net

__________________________________________________ ________

All http://forums.maxima.org/7th-generat...ebatmobile.net Overlays are made from a 7 Year rated High Performance Premium Vinyl, very durable! All Overlays mount to the outside surface, and priced for the pair or complete kit!. Application is Peel and Stick with the aid of soap and water, and a hair dryer for some applications. Overlays can be removed if desired with no or minimal residue left behind by applying heat with a hairdryer or heat gun and slowly peel off. For my Smoke tints I offer a 6/10 which equals 20% tint, and a lighter 3/10 which equals 60% tint. All kits come with application instructions. Also, headlight lid overlays have a double or dual layer option. This is an extra layer in black so light doesnt pass through the overlay. Headlight/Taillight Overlays for OFF ROAD USE ONLY. Check your local laws before ordering smoke overlays.

Make check or money order payable to:

Andrew Mercado
11563-4 Compass Pt Dr, N
San Diego, Ca 92126

Other countires, please inquire about shipping charges. Personal checks will need to clear prior to shipping. State which kits and finish with your order! Please Submit a copy of this email with your name, address and phone number should I have a question regarding your order. Also include year, make and model of your vehicle. It does usually take him a day or two to get back to you. He is running his own business but he will eventually get back to you. I emailed him yesterday like he told me to and didn't get a response back from him so what I would say is that if you don't get a call back from him then just email him again tomm or the day after.

Shoot him and email... I am sure that if more people are interested then he will have no problem doing so.

No one has pix yet because he just finished the 1st set. I will be ordering some for him and taking some pix and posting here and sending them to him so that everyone can see. Just hang tight and keep on checking back.

If its been that long I would just email him again. If you paid with PayPal open up a dispute that might get his attention. Maybe they got lost in the mail or something. Sometimes that happens.

I emailed him abot the window trim and the door handles and he replied in one word. "perhaps" so I guess if there's enough interest he'll do it.

Ya if there is enough interest then he will more than likely do it. Also he has to look and see if it is possible to do so thats what that could have ment as well.

I dont know much about vinyl but i had my tailights painted by the dealers bodyshop and it looks unbeleivable. Looks like its straight from factory and the paint just makes it look so custom and professional. $125 total. i recommend it.

Gotta remove the overlay and request for a new one from him!

That sucks. Do they need to be heated in some way to fit?

Have you tried contacting him at all? If you have emailed him and got no response I have his contact number just PM me and i'll give it to you ONLY IF YOU TRIED EMAILING HIM 1ST then you can harass him on their until he calls you back.

Also if you paid through pay pal open up a dispute with him. They will send him and email notifying him of your open dispute claim and he'll respond to you asap most likely.

I ordered overlays for my 06 Altima from this guy 2 years ago. He barely gives you enough product to do the job, and if you mess up you're screwed. Not to mention its WAY overpriced. Just call any local vinyl shop and ask them for Oracal 8300 Transparent CAL in Middle Grey 074 or Dark Grey 073. I got a 9ft by 2ft roll shipped to me for less than he charged for the overlays. ****, it was $13.35 and $8.52 S/H for a total of $21.87 shipped from Portland, Oregon to NJ. This way if i messed up(wich I did applying it,) I had extra to try again. FYI, just called my guys in Portlansd, current price is $4.95 for 3ft x 2ft piece!

Here's a link to find a vendor in your area. http://www.oracal.com/products/product.asp?seriesID=201&tabID=md

Since have been removed....the Altima is a lease and goes back next month. I had a friend help me. We also used lots of water and a heat gun to stretch the vinyl and work it with less bubbles. Its not easy so I recomend you have a professional do it if you have no experience with vinyl.

^^i agree thats what i did, i remember trying it a while back with a friend on his car and it was a diaster, Many people think putting on bluebats vinyl is easy...WRONG....I suggest only buy vinyl from him if you have experience doing it, if not your just wasting your time and money
