Ait 2 Fuel Ratio (Adding Intake)

I already have an intake installed on my car but a buddy of mine and me were talking about the air to fuel ratios and how if there is a big change it could damage you engine. Does anyone think that there is a risk of this with the Stillen Intake on the 7th Gens??

o2 sensors should adjust the a/f ratio for any difference the intake makes. At least that is what they did in my fairlady......

Yeah the ECU can adjust for basic bolt ons like intakes and exhaust. It's only when you start adding major mods that affect the A/F ratio (like cams or larger plenums) that the car runs a chance of running lean. You're fine with just the intake.

intake and other bolt-ons are fine. stay away fr the major upgrades than you will mess with a/f ratio, and if so there devices to monitor a/f and adjust the leaness

Ok thanx for all of the input back guys. I though that the ECU would just adjust itself for w.e. changes were made I just wanted to make sure on that.

I don't plan on messing around with any headers or anything that that to mess with the AFR.
