Fog light assembly replacement

I was washing my car over the weekend and noticed the glass on my driverside fog light was cracked and a small piece missing. I have no idea how that happened, maybe a rock. I assume i will need to be replacing the whole left assembly and got quoted from my dealership $176 for 1 fog light asssembly and $50-90 for the install. Ouch. Has anyone used ebay or another aftermarket place to buy the assembly and what was your experience? How easy is the install and would it be worth it for the dealership to install it? I may get it at courtesy for $136 but wanted to look at my other options.

I replaced both of my fog lights from ebay. They are easy to replace. You can buy from ebay for half from dealers cost.

What's the quality of the ebay parts? I'm afraid of fitment issues as well. What ebay seller did you use?

I still may buy it from courtesy and install it myself but wanted to double check other options.

Well I'm in the same boat now. Noticed yesterday that the drivers side fog is shattered. So I'll ask also, as did bigear82, anybody have an ebay seller that they can recommend for the replacement?

I bought a new Oem Nissan fog assembly and bulb from EBay but only needed to replace the bulb which was held on by 2 screws. So I didn't use the assembly I bought. The eBay seller i got it from didn't have any more.
