Drive belt clicking noise
I have a 2009 Maxima SV. Since October I’ve been hearing a clicking noise coming from the engine bay. Long story short. The drive belt is shifting side to side on the alternator pulley, but it’s only does it on cold starts for about 10 to 30 seconds and then completely goes away. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

I would imagine you either have the wrong belt, the belt is cut and or a pulley out of alignment (ac/ps/alt)
check the belt closely. If good and correct, wander on the alternator shouldn't occur. Was the alternator replaced?

Like LtLeary said I suspect you have a bad pulley, I had the same situation with my car about a year ago.
I started out replacing the tensioner, a week later, I had to later replace the whole pulley assembly because of what you said is your problem.
My belt would squeal at startup, I sprayed belt dressing on it daily. Then one day after my car sat out overnight in the rain, I started it and heard a loud slapping noise.
It was the sound of my belt shredding 2 grooves, which confirmed that my pulley system was bad.
All in all, I went thru 3 Gate belts and 2 junkyard pulleys before I bought brand new OE parts to finally fix the problem.
