What Color Coolant in your 7th Gen and how often do you change it?t
My 2014 has 60K miles on it. It has the original coolant which is green in color. I have been doing some searching and some say Nissan switched to using long life blue coolant in all their vehicles around 2011. So I was surprised that mine is green. Anyway, what color coolant does your 7th Gen use and how often do you change it? I checked the owners manual and It seems like it is really difficult to find a straight answer.

This link will provide the information you are seeking,
I checked my 09 SV Sport and it has blue fluid. It did have green from the factory but the radiator was changed about 5 years ago because of a deer strike.
Apparently the two fluids are compatible with each other.

Thanks! That article seems to spell things out pretty clearly. After 8 years and about 60K miles my green Nissan coolant still looks like new. I checked it out with a coolant tester and it tested good. I could also check PH which will also probably be fine. I'll probably just plan on replacing the coolant soon regardless.
Nissan’s Blue coolant is the company’s long-life coolant (LLC) and is designed to provide a much longer service interval. According to Nissan the coolant should last 10 years or 220,000 km (135,000 miles) from the factory, however some other sources state that the first change should be around 7 years or 170,000 km (105,000 miles). Future coolant changes with Nissan Blue should be every 5 years or 120,000 km (75,000 miles)
Nissan Green Coolant has a shorter service interval than Nissan Blue with changes needed every 4 years or 96,000 km (60,000 miles).

Richard66, did you buy your 09 SV Sport new? How many miles on the vehicle? Other than normal maintenance and the deer strike have you had to do any repairs such as suspension, exhaust or electrical? How is the vehicle holding up? Mine is an 14 SV Sport. With the prices of new and used vehicle being so high I will probably be keeping it for a while longer.

Wow someone who drives less than I do. Have you changed the CVT fluid? That's another item I'm kind of unsure what to do. Some say 100K miles no problem others seem to change every 30K.
The rear wheel bearings, both of them, failed on my Maxima at about 30K miles other than that no issues. Although with my experiences with multiple Nissan dealers I will never set foot in any of their dealerships again..
