Deciding on new tires

Deciding on new tires
I have 27k on the OEM tires and I am getting ready to go on vacation, so I am trying to decide if I should get tires now. I think at my last oil change tread was 3/32. I live in Iowa and sometimes have to drive in snow, so an all season is a must. I really like what I hear about the Continental extreme contact DWS tires, but I am worried about road noise, they look like they might be noisy. This is the first really nice car I have had and I want to make sure I put good tires on it, so I am also looking at Michelin Primacy MXM4s but I am looking at about $1500 with installation for those, that is a chunk of change. Also I would really prefer to buy from Sams Club so I can use my Sam's credit account since I am dropping almost 4k on my vacation, I would prefer to take a couple of months to pay the tires back. I don't like credit cards so my Sam's account is the only revolving credit account I have. They don't carry the Continentals.
Any thoughts? Also I don't care for the OEM tires...

You can check Tirerack and Discount Tire and see what they have. You can also read the reviews that other customers have posted and find out if they handle good in the snow or are noisy. Once you find a few sets that you like, cross reference them with Sam's Club to see if they have them and at what price.

Those Michelin Primacy MXM4s i have heard good things about them. I personally have Conti DWS' I love them. Also take a look at Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....autoModClar=SV

Not if you plan to exceed or reach those speeds for an extended period of time. They are, honestly, not worth it on a car like the Maxima as I am sure it will not be able to reach the speed ratings of W (168 mph) or Y (186 mph). The OEM Goodyears are V-rated.

Thanks! Went with the Michelin Primacy MXM4s but the V speed rated instead of W, so they ran just under 1k installed. Had to special order them, I am leaving on the 9th but they are supposed to get here by the 5th. I really liked the A/S 3's but they were on back order.
