What will your next car be?

Definitely the first model year of the 8th gen Maxima. I have bought 7 Maximas, all the first model year of a generation (two 2nd gens, one each of gens 3 thru 7), and have had excellent service and reliability from every one.
I am very excited about the 8th gen Maxima. It will be a few years ahead stylistically when released, and that will turn off many prospective buyers, but, like 6th and 7th gens, will be right in style and popular in around two or three years.

My lease isn't up for two more years or so, so I'm not sure. I can tell you where my head is at, though...
In no particular order, these are on my list:
Next gen Maxima
Genesis sedan
BMW 3 series
Cadillac ATS
Audi A4
Infiniti Q whatevertheycallthemnow
Lexus IS/ES
Acura TL(X?)
Chevy Impala
Toyota Avalon
Subaru WRX
Volvo S60

Already got mine. 2013 Genesis Coupe R-Spec. 6MT, beaucoups of power, and a pretty good aftermarket to boot. Factory Brembo BBK and Torsen LSD make the car a blast to drive.
Best bang for the buck car I've driven in a while. Strictly speaking performance, of course.

Chevy SS is a pathetic, overpriced attempt by GM to make up for accidentally dumping the G8, which was a fantastic car. I'd wait for something better. Or shoot for a used CTS-V. But that's just my feeling, personally.

Funny you mention that. Just the other day, I saw a Kia commercial (I think it was Kia) where they showed a white on black model with black pano roof and the double moonroof. If not for the grill badge, it would take a much closer look to see that is wasn't my white on black Maxima with pano roof and double moonroof from a glance at the front/side view.
Hyundai copied the Mercedes "melted together" headlamp/running light design a few years after MB started using it. At a quick glance from the front, it looks like an E-class.
I'm hoping that the 8th gen Maxima is available soon as my lease is up early next year. At that point I have to make a decision to pick something else, as the buyout on mine will be above market price at the time.

I was looking into the 7th gen Max, but may wait to see how the bearing issue plays out. Now, I'm looking at the G37x's. I think it may be fun to have an AWD car! Either way, it won't be for another year or so, but I've been researching. I love my Max and it has been a rock solid vehicle for me for 14 years, and I hope to find another vehicle just as dependable.
