Scraped bottom of Stillen lip -____- quick fixes????
Whats up fellow 7th genners. I scraped my stillen lip at the bottom. No big deal nobody is going to look down there but is there any quick fixes for this? The primer is showing. Thanks for the help

the bottom of my lip is entirely primer....LOL
Im fairly sure that anybody who is lowered with or without a lip, has a scraped up front edge. its just a side effect of being of being lowered

Should get mine this Thursday.
Scraping the bottom is the least of my worries, I bought an extra can of base coat for this very thing. http://www.automotivetouchup.com/spray_paint_matched.aspx
Now crunching one angle parking is what I'm concerned with.

That's funny you should mention parking sensors....I spent some time awhile back researching the possible use of these but gave up. Let me know if you find something you like.

My friend suggested me a solution to prevent the bottom of the lip scraping. He suggested to find or make an aluminum sheet then shape to the bottom of the lip. Then use screws or adhesive. Im going to try this. Maybe I'll post a DIY if this works out well.

I like that aluminum idea. If you go through with it, jbling, don't forget the pics!

or you can just get a splitter and shape it to the lip shape. i did that to my lip long time ago. i got bored of it and took them off. i will look for picture n post it up

I tried a splitter but it eventually ripped off..(less than 2 weeks)...If you have a black stillen front lip..You could get away with Plasti dip..which I did real cleanly and it looks amazing..better than before actually. I also could recommend plasti-dipping it and than spraying over it.
Both options work real well !
