Possible Racingline Strut Tower Brace Group buy

I reached out to Racingline and they would entertain a group buy if there is enough interest.... $115+ shipping for 5-9 orders. $115 shipped for 10+.

http://racinglineperformance.com/sho...&idcategory=23

Let me know and I'll get back with them.

I'll be selling my Racingline Strut soon..for cheaper than 115 by the Summer. So if anyone is willing to wait a few months..I have no problem giving it to them.

I believe they had a thread last month on a rear sway bar deal.

hate to say this, but the strut bar barely does anything - the strut towers are already braced with metal. get the rear sway bar it makes a big difference. after i got my CXJ intake spacers installed i took off the strut bar and never put it back on cause i never noticed it was missing while driving. i guess it dresses up the engine bay a bit.

+1 I have my bar just sitting under my bed after install the spacers as well, I still need to take the brackets off of the car and sell mine. Will be doing that any day.

I personally think the Strut bar makes a difference..for my car atleast. I have noticed different handling at certain turns I have made before and after stock. I think it is preferenced based.

and Beast..No doubt..I'll hold it on for ya..we will take it off my whip and just put it on yours at my crib..I'll help you obviously.

A friend and I wondered about this especially since the strut towers are so far "up" the chassis. The whole frame is quite rigid and you'll likely notice this jacking up one corner of the car; the whole side tends to start lifting. Sort of freaked me out the first time I noticed. Flexing is noticeable however. Saw a bit of this today after jacking up the front right to get the tire off and access the oil filter. The passenger door seemed to "sag" from the hinge and wouldn't close nicely without a bit of a lift and push.

The sample picture for this product on the racingline website shows some other goodies added to the engine. Any clues on what they are? Or is that a previous gen?

I'm currently awaiting a reply. When I initially emailed them, it took several days for them to get back to me. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something.

Good idea. For those who just registered and are thinking of buying a FSTB, jump on the group buy.

Makes sense that the more people willing to do this the cheaper it will be.
