That blows. Hope you can get it fixed alright. I know there's a video about bypassing the nav restrictions, and maybe in that if you pause it you can get a good view. I'll be doing that bypass to my car soon, maybe I can snap some pics while I've got it all apart. Let me know if you need those pics. It'll probably be a week before I get to it though.

he said it'll be about a week...

so you bought the car from NY, and the stereo equipment was stolen? Did you buy the car legally? You said you got a replacement stereo but nobody in your country knows how to install it? Sounds fishy...

Thats interesting, who did you buy the car from and it should be insured one way or another, the bypass that the other guy is talking about, is a plug and play harness, your harness has been cut and you will need an expert to put it back together, your best bet is contact a Nissan dealer and order a new harness

So your friend bought the car, and the stereo was normal, nothing wrong....he sent it to you and now the stereo is missing?

I have to ask...

do you trust your friend? Sounds to me like he either ripped out the stereo himself, OR he shipped it to you with a company that was very very unreputable, adn they did it.

usually when shipping vehicles, there is insurance involved in the transaction in case of loss of the vehicle or parts of it. Was there any in this case?

calm down bro

The wiring diagrams should be in the FSM, which you should be able to download from the internet. The 2010 FSM is the newest I found, but you may be able to find the 2011 with more searching.

Just noticed that. I don't think that plug is available without the harness. I'll look in the harness plug kit at work and see if one is. Doubtful, but maybe.

I think everyones car here on the org are unique, beautiful, and of course sexy no matter what mods.... Ghozt's and 1sik4dsc's Maxima was one of the reasons why I got into modding my Max...

I feel your pain. I was hit by a thief that didn't know what he was doing... I guess their standard practice is to break the window and the dash, rip out shiny screen, cut the cables and run. He will probably have a hard time moving your screen, and he probably thinks he has the whole system....

Tough luck on your nav system. Folks here have the knowledge to help you out, I'm sure. I'm not in such a helpful mood with our ambassador to Libya getting murdered yesterday. I'm just don't get how you can get so riled up over a movie that's not released, and kill people that have nothing to do with it.

Funny - I was just thinking that Jbling's ride looks great and is the first Tuscan Sun Max that I really like. I think it's the blacked out grill that's really making it work for me. And the nice glow off the hood.

Ghozt your Max is my favorite also... Silver is also one of the colors I like cause it matches with anything plus it pops with the black since it's a light color. I like a lot of Maximas done over the years. Each is unique. When the 8th gen comes out, I'm curious how people would mod it... I want to see a modded 2013 Altima Nobody that I know did one so far....

Can you get access to the factory harness? I may be able to help you with a diagram.

Maybe it was payback for those four americans that were killed, and someone wanted to take justice into their own hands by stealing your screen.

Really dude?? You deserve a temp. ban for that. Don't be a peice of $h!t and post crap like that on here. You can take that some where else.

Not called for at all and I hope the mods actually do something about it. Cuz I don't need to get involved in a war of words with your ignorant a$$.
