Spoiler add-on details

For future reference, in case anyone is interested, here are the details of what part numbers are involved if you want to add on the OEM trunklid spoiler:

Spoiler - 999J1-MX00A list price $310 (may be color coded, so be careful)
Jumper Wire for brake light - 999J1-MWOWH list price $40
Weatherstripping - 84830-9N00B list price $55.62

Actual cost is up to the dealer (mine was less)

And for $55, the weatherstripping must be made of NASA-grade shielding, in case you drive through the Van Allen belts.

Not until I get my tint job done.

Had the car in for the tint last week, and the tint guy slipped his knife on his arm and had to get 15 stitches. Re-scheduled for after labor day now.

That's why he should get the machine to pre-cut to the proper specs for the car. Removes needing to put a blade to a window anymore!

That was my first thought when the shop owner called me with the news, I'm a little ashamed to admit. But it was another car he was working on before mine.

He's ok now and we are re-scheduled.
