i have a 09 max w/o the bose system (red screen) is there any way i can put a double din in to replace the screen if there is where can i move the climate control so i can make room or if you know somewhere in ny area that can do it

What screen is that u have up top? And do u have pics of your relocated climate controls?

i didnt bother relocating the climate control i just left it out (still works) because im getting rid of the car soon, i forgot the name of the screen i could give it to you when i get home from work.
i got it on amazon for under $100

Yea something like that I would like to keep the climate control I don't want to switch the head unit n have a blank screen up there

i got the kenwood 9990hd and just a FYI the top screen is a VIDEO OUT signal from the HU and the only Video out signals that most HU's send are
"ipod, dvd, video in" just a FYI make sure ur ready to load up music video's into your ipod/iphone/ipod touch and get the cable that is compatible with your headunit

the climate control does work without the screen but if you wanna get crazy and cut the bottom carbon fiber plastic then so be it but is that really necessary ? what if you sell the car your gonna have to go get another piece IF they have it @ nissan ....i dont know i just think its to much hassle just for a climate control screen, its common sense anyway u just push the blue arrow for cold red arrow for hot lol

this is the screen i have , but im sure ANY 7inch screen fits (just make sure it comes with a remote so you could turn it off and on) and if you guys wanna know what wire to splice into let me know

would you happen 2 know what size the screen above the climate control screen is i was thinkin about trying to put a 3.2in screen i found there and if the radio harness would reach up there

I do not know the size of the top screen (above climate control)
the harness reaches any part (if u open the harness because it is wrapped with tape/plastic)

i can tel lyou the HxWxL of the top screen.. i have it sitting infront of me lol...

Hieght is 2 3/8 inches..
Length is 7 inches...
wight 1 5/8 inches...

Hey IFuXwiTuZ do u have any complaints with the Kenwood 9990hd head unit. Im thinking about getting it.

nope the head unit is awesome and its way faster then my old 8890HD

works wonderfully never had any issues with it (make sure you update it to the new firmware v1.5)

and if its SUPER HOT outside put the AC on so it doesnt over heat your head unit because $1400 HU is expensive

how about backup camera signal? would the 7 headrest receive signal so both screen be showing back up cam? and how about navigation?
