Ok i have it narrowed down to HKS or Corsa. I have searched though for 2 weeks and can't find anything witha corsa clip. I really like the HKS all though its extremely pricey at 450 each muffler. I have allways liked the corsa on the new muscle cars like c6 corvettes, new cameros and challengers but I have not heard one of the maxima. If someone could post a clip I would be so appreciative. Also this is on a brand new 2012 maxima premium pkg so Im not racing it or running back roads at high rates of speed. I just want something with a low elegant rumble that does not sound like a bunch of pissed offf bumble bees in a tin can. Plus it has to be pretty quiet in the cabin cause my wife drives the car and we have 2 young daughters that like watching there portable dvds and I don't want to be deaf after an hour of driving. Any suggestions is appreciated. I do not like the magnaflow or the dynomax mufflers either. the only other one I would consider is Borla. Thanks in advance.

are you talking about a custom exhaust with the titanium mufflers?

do you have a clip of what those sound like? i may be interested in doing the HKS

No I don't have a clip of either especially the corsa. I've been huntin one of those for two weeks but hks is pretty easy to find. I can't find anything for corsa on a maxima.

exhaust on a Gt-r will sound nothing like a maxima. you are comparing apples to oranges.

^^^+1 yuou cant compare an N/A 3.5l V6 to a Turbo'd 3.8L V6. The GTR doesnt even use a VQ block, its completley different.

Yeah i know about the apples and oranges thing. And I know it wont' sound anything like that. Im almost thinkin about going with a Borla exhaust cat back system. Im not wanting a full exhaust just a little something above stock with a low rumble and a good note at insterstate speed. So whats the part number of the muffler and cat back system for the maxima? I can't find it on there website.

Well corsa is out. Talked to them today and they only carry kits and right now the only 6 cylinder engines they have is mustang and camero. HKS is now out do to price and a little to loud inside car. So BORLA is in. Full cat back is on tap. Now to figure a way to sneak $850 past my wife. LOL
