I have mathcing HID fogs with LED plate lights but my highs are still puke yellow. Are you guys changing out the bulb to "fake" hid to closer match the stock 4300k?

My high beams run as a daytime running light and look kinda ugly yellow. I can't change them to led cause it uses voltage to make them high beams .. Anyone got a workaround for this?

Did you retrofit the high beam projector yourself? If so, what size projector housing did you use? Does your retrofit projector shroud match the OEM low shroud?

Kind of pricey for bulbs but well worth it. They output almost as much as an HID kit and you won't have to wait for them to warm up. Instant brightness FTMFW.

this is what the Canadian DRL looks like:

http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/...t/maxfront.jpg

this bulb is what turns on as soon as the parking brake is released and turn off when the low beams are turned on. They stay when the parking lights are on though. This is the same bulb that is used for high beams as well.

I would like to put and LED or something close to the 6000K low and fog lights i have. Is there an alternative to the HIR bulbs?
