When you're cruising at 70-80, how's the noise level inside the car?

if I hold it at a very specific RPM it has some in-cabin noise (which i actually kind of like its not bad or annoying the car sounds strong) but this is easily avoidable by holding the pedal a little differently. if it helps to know i had a 45 minute drive that my girl passed out during, so its definitely still quiet enough to sleep in while cruising. she just would wake up anytime i floored it lol

oh aight then yeah the BOP's did make it that much louder. back to back the CAI wasn't that much louder than the SRI when I first put it on, but when I put it back on with the BOP's this is what I ended up with. it's hard to gauge, woulda been easier if I had the CAI on before and after the BOP install

everyone calls the short ram airs "CAI" because thats what the manufacturer calls them...they're actually warm-air-intakes...

I currently have the R2C intake (filter shield is awesome) and just installed the BOP's yesterday. After resetting the ECU, it seemed to run a touch rough for a minute or so. But then it came alive! I have seen a few on here said that they experienced a small loss of power at take off....I did not. I can verify what the others have said that through the powerband, this Maxima now surely has an increase of power, and a nice roar that will turn heads. I will not mess with the exhaust, I feel backpressure is too important with these motors. I put new exhaust on my 350Z and I lost power. I went and topped off with some 93 octane and I will report back with any mileage increase. 80% of my driving is expressway....looking forward to the claimed increased mileage. Sure makes this steed so fun to drive!

How many times would I ask you to stop taking videos in my drive way? Seriously, STOP IT!!!

LOL, just kidding..., . You have a great driveway and nice house. Aggressive and good looking Max too.

As for the sound, that is very aggressive. That is the sound I wish I could get if I knew just the right things to buy. Keep up the great work.

Great video. Awesome combination of intake and exhaust. It really makes the 3.5 sound like a beast. Now only if someone can fabricate some headers...

Thanks guys! Yeah I wanted a nice aftermarket tone but nothing ricey or raspy (and definitely no cabin drone). Lots of people don't like the Borla cause they say it's too quiet, in my opinion its just loud enough. As you can tell the only thing you hear when I have it at WOT is the intake anyway lol. I really like how the intake sound ended up, it was nice with a SRI, a little better with the CAI, and awesome now with the BOPs as well.
