Call Waiting update..

Did anyone else get a card in the mail for a free update to the on board software to add call waiting? Not sure how it will work and hoping to get it done Saturday but was totally shocked to see it. Never thought the tech would be updated other than a new set of Maps... Nissan states it is due to customer requests and they are listening..

Is this only for those with the monitor/tech package?

I have bluetooth on mine as well, but don't really understand how I would update the board software, unless it's via the cd slot... ?

Nope I would be eligible for that as well though. Maybe the right person saw your thread.

I took a pic of the letter/card I received. Unfortunately, it does not specify what is in your vehicle other than having the "call waiting" function already - guys, please double check what packages/options that is available on (I'm not sure-Tech pack?)

There is, however, a section (not in the photo containing personal information as well as your VIN#) that asks more info if you no longer own the vehicle.

So, if anything, the service is tied to Nissan database on our VIN#s as usual

PS - anyone else noticed the line: Customer concerns are importnat to Nissan

You don't need the actual letter. My dealer didn't ask for it. Just tell them you want to schedule the call waiting recall.
