R2C intake and Racingline FSTB
Does anyone have both the R2C intake and Racingline front strut tower bar?
If so just wondering what modifications you made to the R2C shield to accommodate the strut bar. I have had my strut tower bar off since getting the intake when it was first released because I was too lazy to cut into the R2C shield. I am going to cut the shield in the next few days but just curious if anyone else has already done it and have pictures of exactly where and how much you cut off.
Thanks

Woww this post came just in time. I have the r2c intake but I have yet to put on my racingline fstb (delivered weeks ago) because I wasn't sure about this. I should have checked kmoney's at the meet this weekend loll.

Thanks for the pic Kmoney. I feel like the racingline bar must sit lower because when I test fitted it it looked like I'm going to have to cut away more than just the foam rubber shroud. We will see when I finally get around to it, doesn't look like it will be this week or weekend.

I had to cut through the metal on my R2C intake to get the Racingline STB to fit because it does sit lower. I didn't completely cut the metal out though, once you make the two vertical cuts with a dremel you can just fold the metal down out of the way. Make sure to cut the passage wide enough or the STB will rub on the metal and rattle.

This seems like a lot of work too me. Especially involving metal. All I wanted was to cut a cushion spot (2) for the strut bar. Does this require anymore work than this? If so, I am not buying the Intake or Strut
