Cargo Net

Well I finally got around to taking out my cargo net and installing it. However it seems to be too short in length, anyone else install their net? This seems to simple but it has me perplexed...

I can't get it installed, once I get one side attached it pulls off while trying to attach the opposite side. Does yours pop off?

mine pops off all the time. make sure the smaller one are installed on the sides, and the longer one in the middle. you kind of have to finagle it, and it should stay.

Mine never pops off, but it was a PITA to get those buttons fully seated. If I recall correctly, I took them apart, seated the body of the button to the car, then inserted the pin.

Thing works great for keeping soda bottles from rolling around. I use the side ones to hold a roll of paper towels some cleaning supplies.

Where is the cargo net stored before installation? I'm picking up my new Max on Monday and didn't see it in the trunk on my test drive.

It's a non-standard accessory. Pretty inexpensive. Mine serve me well and don't really get in the way when not in use, even though they look like they would.

Ok. Thanks. I would of thought that this item would be included but no such luck.

Has anyone installed the trunk organizer? Is it worth the $$. If you buy their first aid kit and tool kit it looks like it is a good package.

Cargo Nets, o6 and 11 maxima

Have an 06 with 3 nets, just bought an 11 and had to ask for nets. Salesman gave me the long net out of an 08 that was on the lot. The 11 has only 2 of the button/hook hangers installed in the trunk. The net goes around the button, the hook part is for hanging shopping bags believe it or not. I'm going the the parts dept. this weekend to see if they can install 2 more buttons so the net fits right.

I found mine in the glove box after buying a set on eBay...the two little ones on the side aren't that great but the big net it pretty useful and I use it all the time - doesn't get in the way and keeps stuff from rolling all over my trunk.

I took the cargo net from my '06 Avalon and use it on my '09 Maxima. The Toyota net is the exact right width, a little too deep, but much more useful than the Max's net. I do use the side nets to hold battery cables and a first aid kit.
