Did you use any of the tapping screw to screw into the ends of the front lip?

I saw a post that removing the lower splash guard screws allow for a more flexible fit. But does the lip cover the screws? I'm asking cause I've never seen one in person before. Also anyone selling or does not what their lip, PM me please.

I highly doubt the lip cover the screws. I am also on the hunt for a used lip, preferably shaven ones!

the splash guards are behind each tire, the stillen lip mounts on the front of the car. the splash guards wont interfere unless you're installing it wrong

I think he or she is referring to the plastic splash guard that is beneath the front lip. ..the black plastic thingy..?

ah yes, on the front the lip covers a couple screws underneath the car that hold the front bumper cover on, but you can get to them with a small socket wrench since its 90 degrees. ive pulled my headlights off several times now, which requires taking the bumper most of the way off, and ive never needed to undo the screws underneath for any reason yet. the only reason id see needing to take it off is if i was having the whole bumper cover painted or something

Hey Guys,

I have a 09 Pear white Maxima, and I just received the stillen complete body kit. I wanted to know for white cars has anyone painted the Lip (flat black) and also side skirts ?

I'm not sure how it will looks, considering our cars have black mixed into it with around the side view mirrors, panoramic roof etc etc, I think it will give some contrast.

You could always Photoshop it to get an idea of how it would look.
I was thinking about doing that with my mud guards but decided against it.

Hey,

Yeah I've seen a vid online of the front lip painted back (
), it looks pretty good and sharp. Not sure bout the side skirts. I think if those are painted flat black the rear rock guard will also have to be painted a flat back colour also to keep the flow going good.
