Do you have to do any re-programming to the engine to get the full affect? I understand that the engine has some lazy torque logic in it to hold it back off the line.

its the CVT not the engine...this engine doesnt get lazy one bit i had a vq35DE altima in 6mt and it was FAR from lazy off the line....even without launching @ over 3500.

i hear there is a CVT reflash from nissan we could do that helps the take off

For the wet kit, where did you tie into for your fuel source? Fuel line, test port, or did you plumb a stand alone tank and pump?

Thanks,
TK

Ah man, that's a bummer! Was is it because of it breaking down?! Or wanting something new? Would you think a dry system would be doable on our vehicles?!

The owner really did have NOS; he ran the track a bit a bunch of the NY Maxima people know him personally. I don't think he sold it due to mechanical break-down so much as wanting to move on to a different platform. Most people who go the power route end up disappointed and trade in for a more powerful vehicle.

Ah ok, I gotcha! I've been doing more research on the dry vs wet kits. Definitely would go the wet system if I go the nitrous route!!
