remove the dummy plate in front of the car. (Unless they are paying you for free advertising).

I agree! Black is an amazing color when it's as shiny clean as yours.

all my cars were black until now i have the dark slate max sv.
with black aftr a while you develop a swirl which is almost to get rid of.
i use meguiars 2.0 wax on my max and aftr washes i use meguiars quick was this stuff is the best highly recommended!

Sexy! I love black paint when it's clean. I could just never own a black car because it takes so much effort to keep it clean! I love the way the sun reflects off the curved hood

hey that does look nice. What tire and rim cleaner you use. When I wash my car my wheels do not stay as shinny.

It's just so damn smooth looking when it's clean, a whole lot of work but well worth it when it's done!

I am not looking forward to all the work I'll have to do to get my finish back into shape after driving through salt, sand, etc. Oh, well. At least it will look great when I am done.

I spent the first weekend of spring straitening out the mess that the road treatments during the Winter caused. I had to clay the car twice and polish it before waxing. It is just amazing how much sand gets embedded in the paint from what is on the road. If you look at the street in the pictures, you'll see plenty of sand still left on the road.

Nice pics! While on the subject, I just waxed my Max this past Saturday but it rained today before I could take it somewhere for some nice pics.

Anyhow, I noticed while waxing a small, shallow chip in the paint on the front bumper which I'm assuming is from some rock or salt flying up at it off the freeway.

Don't really want to pay the dealer for a full detail...what's the best way to fix the paint chip? It's not terrible, but it's deep enough for me to see the black underneath the white paint.

Two things...
1 - YOUR PHONE ROCKS - great photos from a cellphone.
2 - Nice car (one day I'll be able to afford such a beast ... for now I'll try to make my '99 as nice as I can)

Giving the car a full detail like that is very self therapeutic. A great stress relief. That is unless you other half is jealous you already spend too much time with your car. haha. Looks clean though
