I wonder when someone will say, "That car looks like a Model T, notice how there are four wheels, a roof and a steering wheel!"

i went to the auto show yesterday and the new maxima looks very nice in person. i think it might be the best looking generation so far. very muscular look and it had a bigger crowd around it then the gt-r that was on the same platform. overall i must say it was a good move by nissan.
ohh and the people who were talking about the maxima during the presentation were saying that the new maxima was designed with the gt-r in mind and that it was inspired by nissans new gt-r and nissans new devotion to performance

a pic i asked my friend to do not the best chopping but it was just for a general idea, i asked for the VIP look, lowered bigger wheels(like 22s under those wells with 18inch rotors haha) and tinted

In comparing this Maxima photo with that of a Lexus LS, I found the Maxima to be more sporty and more attractive. By the way, the Lexus LS lists from $62K to $104K, depending on equipment. I think I will stick with the Maxima.

Now I really really want one. Even that big grille looks fine when viewed from a normal position slightly above or to the side of the car. Some early pics were taken from down low directly in front of the car where the grill was the only thing in view of the camera. That was misleading.

i like the design of it though.. the headlights are a little funky, and the fog lights seem like they should be positioned more towards the sides of the car, but other than that it's cool... i LOVE how the exhaust looks! i wonder how it sounds...

After reading the long list of suspension changes, and noting the shortened wheelbase and wider stance, I am convinced the area in which the 7th gen Maxima will surpass earlier gens is in handling. I'll bet handling is the area with which the car mag testers will be most pleased.

Charts measure only the mind and attitude of the charter. I have owned nothing but Maximas for 23 1/2 years, and as much as I loved every one of them, MY 6TH GEN MAXIMA IS THE BEST CAR I HAVE EVER OWNED OR DRIVEN.
But I am already enchanted with the many suspension changes Nissan has made for the 7th gen Maxima, and will be buying one for sure. My problem is that I just can't bear the thought of parting with my 2000 SE or 2004 SL; both are solid trouble-free vehicles which have given me wonderful driving fun on many long trips over many years.

First it's highly inaccurate!
Second you posted it on a Maxima forum where thousands of members own and love the 6th Gen thus you exposed the idiot that you truly are (you can't even spell accurate correctly ).
Third, on your web site you installed a set of 6th Gen brake calipers on your rusting car???
Soooooooooooooooo get to sucking!!!

i saw that youtube thing of your car and i gotta say its pretty sick. you have one of the FEW 6th gens i would take pride in driving.
i put it close, but nothing will ever match the entire 5th generation in terms of style.

Thanks bro, I'm just showing the potential of what the 6th gen is capable of. So many find it much easier to rip the 6th gen verse look at it the way I do and see the potential...

not to start a war here but the 5th gen is probally one of the more embarrasing looking maxima gens of all time. i am not sure a more vanilla car exists with a v6 that isnt made by toyota.

I didn't really like the 5th Gen when it came out but they turned it around on the 5.5Gen with a 6spd and better cosmetics additions
