I need quiet tires,225/50/17

I have a set of Nexen N5000(all season-high performance tire) on my 5th gen and I have no road noise even at highway speeds, my buddy has a set on his 5.5 gen and we both drive aggressive and has no road noise. its a good tire they are H rated which is good to 130mph so if you dont plan on doing speeds above this your good and they are rated to last 50,000 miles.

Also note most tires at very quiet when they're new. Once they get worn down to 50% or less, they start to get noisy. If you fail to rotate them and let the rear tires get scalloped, then they'll get loud really quick, and there's nothing you can do to get rid of it short of shaving the tires.

I recently bought a set of General Exclaim UHP's. Loved the Fuzions I had on my Altima, but these Generals are even better. Great on dry pavement, great in the rain, and even do well in the snow.

i have yokohama's avid invigors on the front and w4's on the rear. invigors are new, no issues, handle well in rain, snow, corner nicely. about 160.00 a piece installed. imo, very quiet.

If you want a quiet tire, get a all season grand touring tire. When you go up to high performance or ultra-high performance all season the noise level gets progressively louder. If ride quality and noise level are your main concern, stick with the all season grand touring. Personally, I had great experience with the Bridgestone Serenity in this regard. A little pricy but I think well worth peace of mind when ride and noise come to it. People rave about the Michelin Primacy MXV4s as well. Another great tire for good ride and low noise.

I've had....

and currently

I'm not too happy with their performance fun wise, but comfort, noise, and wet traction, the two aformentioned tires above did their job getting me from point a. to point b. safely... but would I autox/drag race on these? aw hell naw
